^%$@ or Get off the Pot!

Keystone XL PipelineThe Keystone XL Pipeline has been up in the air for five years now. Last week Canada’s foreign minister said “The time for Keystone is now. I’ll go further; the time for a decision on Keystone is now, even if it’s not the right one. We can’t continue in this state of limbo.”

Translation? Look! We’ve been as patient with you idiots as long as is humanly possible. We offered this oil to you because we are one of your best allies and we’re trying to be good neighbors. Anyone with half a brain knows what the right decision is… but we’ve humored your environmental studies and rerouting (all for political reasons) long enough. It’s time to ^%$@ or get off the pot!

I personally would like to thank Canada for being so patient with us. I’d have told us to go to hell years ago and sold the oil to China.

Our biggest problem is the leftist environmentalists still think that if they kill the Keystone Pipeline then Canada can’t or won’t develop the Alberta oil sands. As usual, they’re wrong. That oil will be extracted. It will be burned. The only question is will it be used by us (the U.S.) or China?

Meanwhile those who want to see this deal done have bent over backwards for these bastards; waiting on studies, rerouting the line, waiting for more studies. No study or route has been good enough for these guys and none ever will be. Their goal is killing this thing and no compromise was ever going to be possible.

Meanwhile President Barack Obama sits on the pot nice and comfy with no intentions of doing anything. Many thought he was just stalling to get through the 2012 election, but that’s now obviously not the case. He has no intention of making a decision. The consequences and respect owed to our Canadian allies be dammed.

Obama likes to pretend (or more precisely give the appearance) he gives a ^%$@ about jobs, the economy, business, and energy independence. He doesn’t. Oh, it pisses him off that these things often get in the way of him fundamentally transforming the nation socially… but that is as far as his concern goes.

People - Obama, Barack - Show and Pipeline
Concept - Appearance Over Substance - Words & Orange Kiwi

So for the Keystone XL Pipeline, he’s like a moderate, wringing his hands wondering what to do? He knows what he wants to do. Turn left. But ohhh, those political consequences. He likes the outcome of sitting on the fence better.

I could list the things the pipeline would mean to the U.S. including jobs and less dependence on Middle Eastern oil but they have nothing to do with the decision to be made (or lack thereof). Obama in this matter is guided strictly by politics. Of course, when politics drives everything a man does (even sending men to die in war), what do we expect?

While I would like to see Obama finally make the decision to go forward with the Keystone XL Pipeline; I would settle for A decision, ANY decision… Right? Wrong? Whatever? Just grow a couple and do SOMETHING!

Screw Canada (and us by extension)! Why should they get treatment any different from all the other allies we’ve screwed? But do it already!

^%$@ like this is just another reason our allies don’t trust us, and our enemies don’t fear us and nobody respects us. Nor should they with an incompetent pussy like this for a President!
